As a member of our team of Logistics Planning your area of responsibility for Demand Planning for automotive aftermarket China includes:
•Guide and execute Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with sales, marketing and source planning functions for own product group with target to achieve high forecast accuracy
•Validate and resolve gaps of annual/monthly sales forecast vs. demand forecast, align with source planning the supply to fulfil demand forecast
•Organize and lead monthly Management Consensus Forecast Meeting with department heads of Sales, Marketing and Logistics to approve the valid plan
•Maintain and update demand forecast in the Planning System (AddOne), manage daily system alerts for demand deviations from valid plan to avoid delivery service level loss
•Monitor and analyze daily/monthly Customer Service Level, Customer Backlogs, Inventory and Total Coverage Time, Forecast Accuracy Index and initiate corrective actions in case of deviations from target levels
•Improve continuously the manual and system forecast accuracy, systematically analyze of statistical system forecast and optimize system parameter setting
•Initiate and manage self-driven problem solving projects (using PDCA cycle) to develop sustainable solutions
•Support projects: e.g. sales & marketing promotions, customer acquisitions or product launch; participate in IT projects (e.g. SAP or AddOne (planning system) upgrades)
•Bachelor/master degree in business administration, industrial or mechanical engineering
•Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in demand or source planning or controlling
•Ability to understand and structure complex business problems (analytical skill)
•Ability to develop result oriented and practical solutions (problem solving skill)
•Customer service in focus and process efficiency in mind
•Self-driven management of own tasks and projects with target and process oriented thinking
•Team oriented working style that set focus on collaboration to achieve common targets (win together)
•Ability to moderate different views and opinions, resolve target conflicts to achieve common agreement in S&OP
•Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, preferably in data analytics software (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
•Effective and convincing communication skills, fluent oral and written English
•Practical ERP (SAP/R
3) and planning system (e.g., addONE, SAP APO) experience helpful
