- Be responsible for the agile cost engineering, the further development of processes and methods of product cost structure analysis, identify cost drivers, analyze deviations, and demand measures to achieve goals.

- Work actively during whole product life cycle and determine target costs for purchased parts of power electronics, e-machines and other components in Electrified Motion division.

- Active cooperation and coordination within the internal teams, the R&D, projects and purchasing functions to generate ideas and develop measures.

- Optimization of tool costs (stamping/plastic injection/die-casting) by suppliers in Asia (mainly focus China).

- Coordination of EM activities/projects with Asian toolmakers.

- Steers assigned cost activities independently.

- Ensures value contribution in terms of know-how, quality, and efficiency to respective field.

- Develops solutions and drives purpose as well as the best practice process and product costs independent of suppliers, derive recommendations for action and represent them to initiators.

- Tracks target achievement, consolidates plans and results.
